  • The City of Miami Beach announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
    DATE AND TIME: Tuesday, September 13, 2011, 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
    PLACE: Miami Beach Golf Club, 2301 Alton Road, Miami Beach, Florida 33140
    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This Public Kick-off Meeting is being conducted to provide interested persons the opportunity to hear about and to informally express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic and environmental effects of Financial Project ID Number 4209101, otherwise known as the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study of the West Avenue Bridge. The format of this meeting is generally informal with a brief presentation followed by a question and answer period. Public statements and suggestions are documented and included in the project file. The limits of the PD&E Study are along West Avenue between Lincoln Road on the south and 18 Street on the north. Secondarily, the study will evaluate impacts along 17 Street from Dade Boulevard to Alton Road and on Dade Boulevard from Purdy Avenue to Alton Road in Miami Beach, Florida.
