    The Florida Department of Citrus announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: September 4, 2014, 2:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Florida Department of Citrus, 605 E. Main Street, Bartow, Florida 33830

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Citrus Commission will hold an attorney-client session at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at the Florida Department of Citrus, 605 E. Main Street, Bartow, Florida 33830. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Agrosource, Inc. v. The Florida Department of Citrus, pending in Circuit Court in and for the 10th Judicial Circuit, Polk County, FL (Case No. 2013CA-003581-0000-00), the Second District Court of Appeal (Case No. 2D13-4624), and the American Arbitration Association (Case No. 33 502 Y 00449 13). The attorney-client session will commence with a public meeting at the Florida Department of Citrus before the Florida Citrus Commission, and then the Florida Citrus Commission will move into the attorney-client session that is not open to the public, pursuant to Florida Statute 286.011(8). The attorney-client session is estimated to last 1 to 1½ hours. Florida Citrus Commission Members: Michael Garavaglia, Jonathon N. Hancock, Michael Haycock, Vernon Hollingsworth, James Horrisberger, Ellis Hunt, Martin McKenna, Virginia Pena, Francisco Pines; Florida Department of Citrus Executive Director: Douglas R. Ackerman, attorneys Mark N. Miller, Kristie Hatcher-Bolin, and William E. Roberts; and a certified court reporter, who will transcribe the attorney-client session, will attend the attorney-client session. At the conclusion of the attorney-client session, the public meeting will reconvene and continue until adjourned.
