PLACE: Florida Housing Finance Corporation, 227 North Bronough Street, Suite 6000, Tallahassee, Florida, 32301-1329. The meeting will also be accessible via phone. The call-in information will be available on the Corporation webpage website prior to the workshop at this link: https://www.floridahousing.org/programs/homeowners/homeownership-development-programs/homeownership-programs/2019-veteran-s-housing-appropriation. A Listserv will be issued when this information is available.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The workshop will discuss a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the 2019 Injured Veterans Housing Pilot Program. $1 million has been provided to Florida Housing to provide grants to nonprofit organizations that build, modify, maintain, transfer, and enhance homes to and for Florida veterans. Eligible organizations must agree to provide a minimum of 15 homes to injured veterans, the family members of injured veterans, and Gold Star families. Homes may be modified, renovated, or new construction.
