    CONTRACT TRIPS-20-VM-RFP Virus Mitigation Equipment

    On March 9,2020, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a state of emergency in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Letting of this RFP is in response to the current pandemic in an effort to expedite procurement of necessary products, supplies, and innovative equipment transit providers require to assist in preparing for, containing, responding to, and mitigating the effects of COVID-19.  Notice is hereby given that the Transit Research Inspection Procurement Services Program (TRIPS) will receive sealed proposals on behalf of agencies within the state of Florida, herein referred to as the “Purchasers” to establish a statewide Purchasing Agreement for the manufacture and delivery of components related to the elimination, prevention and mitigation of infectious viruses and diseases on various types of transit buses and vehicles and at transit facilities. This RFP is to be considered an emergency request for products, equipment and or services due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. Proposers must have products, equipment, or services ready for sale to propose on this proposal. Products, equipment or services in the research and development stage will not be considered for this RFP.

    Sealed Proposals, an original, four (4) hard copies and 4 USB storage devices, must be received at the above address (Attn: Carlton Allen) not later than 3:30 p.m. ET, Friday September 11, 2020
