NOTICE OF CHANGE
Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 43 No. 109, June 6, 2017 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.
There are no changes to the rule text.
The following changes have been made to the the Florida Medicaid Behavior Analysis Services Coverage Policy:
Sections 1.0 through 2.0, No change.
Section 3.0 Eligible Provider.
Subsection 3.1, General Criteria, No change.
Subsection 3.2, Who Can Provide, the fourth bullet relating to Behavior assistants has been updated.
Sections 4.0 through 6.0, No change.
Section 7.0 Authorization.
Subsection 7.1, General Criteria, No change.
Subsection 7.2, Specific Criteria.
The last paragraph now reads: The QIO uses the review criteria specified in section 9.0 for the first level review. For more information on how the QIO uses the criteria in the review process, please refer to Florida Medicaid’s General Policies on authorization requirements.
Section 8.0, No change.
Section 9.0 Appendix.
