    Project Description: U.S. 1 Corridor Planning Study from Pineda Causeway (State Road (S.R.) 404) to Park Avenue in Brevard County, Florida.

    The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites all persons to an open house for the U.S. 1 Corridor Planning Study. The project limits are from Pineda Causeway (State Road (S.R.) 404) to Park Avenue, distance of about 9 miles. The corridor planning study process is evaluating both the short- and long-term transportation needs of the U.S. 1 corridor including intersection improvements, roadway widening, safety, and the addition of bicyclist and pedestrian features.

    The open house will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the City of Rockledge Council Chambers located at 1600 Huntington Lane, Rockledge, FL 32955. It is being held to introduce the study and to obtain stakeholder input. Attendees will have an opportunity to view project information. Members of the project team also will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
