Invitation to Negotiate
The State Board of Administration of Florida (SBA) is soliciting competitive responses from qualified licensed independent Certified Public Accounting firms with sufficient resources to conduct audits of the financial statements of the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (FHCF) and the SBA Finance Corporation and to review the controls of the FHCF’s third-party service provider by either performing agreed-upon procedures or a SSAE 16, SOC 1, Type 2 engagement, as will be determined by the SBA. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on August 29, 2016, and may be obtained from the FHCF website at www.sbafla.com/fhcf under “Announcements.” The deadline for submitting responses is 4:00 p.m. ET on September 27, 2016. A meeting will be held on October 21, 2016, to discuss and evaluate the responses received. Oral interviews, if conducted, will be held October 24-28, 2016. If needed, a meeting will be held on November 1, 2016, to select a vendor for providing the requested services to the FHCF. The SBA reserves the right to reject any or all competitive responses and to cancel any RFQs.
