    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 12, 2016, the Department of Environmental Protection received a petition for received a petition for variance or waiver from Petitioner, Gulf Island Strand Condominium. The petition requested a variance/waiver from subsections 62B-33.002(18) and 62B-33.002(43), and subparagraph 62B-33.0051(1)(a)1, F.A.C., which require that in order to qualify for a permit for coastal armoring, the structure proposed to be protected must be an eligible structure.
