    PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

    The Florida Public Service Commission announces a hearing in the following docket to which all persons are invited.

    DOCKET NO. AND TITLE: Docket No. 20180044-GU – Consideration of tax impacts associated with Tax

    Cuts and Jobs Act for Peoples Gas System.

    HEARING DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, September 12, 2018, 1:00 p.m.

    PLACE: Room 148, Betty Easley Conference Center, 4075 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, Florida

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING:

    The purpose of this hearing shall be to receive testimony and exhibits and to take final action relative to the Commission’s shall be to receive testimony and exhibits regarding the tax impacts on Peoples Gas System resulting from the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and to take action on any motions or other matters that may be pending at the time of the hearing.  The Commission may rule on any such motions from the bench or may take the matters under advisement.  This proceeding shall: (1) allow the parties to present evidence and testimony in support of their positions; (2) allow for such other purposes as the Commission may deem appropriate.

    PUBLIC TESTIMONY: Any member of the public who wishes to offer testimony should be present at the beginning of the hearing on September 12, 2018.  By providing public testimony, a person does not become a party to the proceeding. To become an official party of record, you must file a Petition for Intervention at lest five days before the final hearing, pursuant to the requirements contained in Rule 25-22.039, Florida Administrative Code (F.A.C.). All witnesses shall be subject to cross-examination at the conclusion of their testimony. The hearing will be governed by the provisions of Chapter 120, Florida Statutes, Section 403.519, Florida Statutes, and Chapters 25-22 and 28-106, Florida Administrative Code.
