PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Requires students to take and pass a course and assessment to demonstrate civic literacy competency. Currently, to meet the civic literacy competency course requirement, Florida College System (FCS) institution students have three course options. The purpose of this rule amendment is to update the current rule to add AMS 2010 Civil Discourse and the American Political Order as an additional course that meets the civic literacy competency course requirement.
