    The Florida Department of Health, Community Health Promotion, Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing announces public meetings to which all persons are invited.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Coordinating Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (FCCDHH) is mandated by Florida Statute 413.271 to serve as an advisory and coordinating body which recommends policies that address the needs of Florida’s community who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened or have combined hearing and vision loss. The purpose of the Quarterly Council Meeting will be to hold a discussion regarding the Council’s exhibit event and the EMO Committee’s quarterly letter, and hold presentations by Rosa Rodiguez from the Deaf Literacy Center (August 10, 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.) and Jennifer Boggess & Beth Engelman from the Family Center on Deafness (August 10, 1:15 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.).
