6M-8.601Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Provider Kindergarten Readiness Rate

PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule is to implement the accountability requirements of the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program (VPK). The rule establishes the calculation of the readiness rate that a VPK provider must reach in order to meet accountability standards and criteria establishing the consequences for when VPK providers fail to meet the readiness rate. Also establishes how readiness rates are binding on new owner after a change in ownership.
