NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 3, 2017, the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling received a petition for waiver or variance filed by Patrick R. Yewell, seeking a variance or waiver of subsection 64B4-2.001(1), F.A.C., which states that two year(s) of “clinical experience,” for clinical social work, marriage and family therapy or mental health counseling as used in Section 491.005, F.S., consists of at least 1500 hours of providing psychotherapy face-to-face with clients as a registered intern for the profession for which licensure is sought; and, shall be accrued in no less than 100 weeks. Petitioner is also seeking a waiver or variance of paragraph 64B4-2.002(1)(a), F.A.C., which states that an intern shall be credited for the time of supervision required by Section 491.005, F.S., if the intern received at least 100 hours of supervision in no less than 100 weeks.
