    The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

    DATE AND TIME: Thursday, September 10, 2020, 5:15 p.m.

    Public Hearing on Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Tentative Ad Valorem Millage Rates, Non Ad Valorem Tax Rolls, and Tentative Budget

    PLACE: This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, a media technology free for the public to use. A link will be provided on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings as well as technical assistance information.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The South Florida Water Management District announces a public hearing regarding its annual tentative ad valorem millage rates, non ad valorem tax rolls and tentative budget.

    The public and stakeholders will have an opportunity to view and comment on the public hearing by utilizing the link found on the District’s website at www.SFWMD.gov/meetings, which will go live at approximately 5:15 p.m. on September 10, 2020. District staff will be available to provide technical assistance.

    The Governing Board will receive and consider public comment and vote separately on the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 tentative ad valorem millage rates, non ad valorem tax rolls, and tentative budget. The Governing Board may discuss and consider District business, including regulatory and non-regulatory matters.

    The Governing Board may take official action on any item appearing on the agenda for the public hearing and on any item that is added to the agenda for the public hearing as a result of a change to the agenda approved by the presiding officer of the public hearing pursuant to Section 120.525, Florida Statutes.

    All of this public hearing will be conducted via media technology.
