NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission received a request for Declaratory Statement on July 17, 2006, from the C4 Architecture, regarding the exit access travel distance for S-1 occupancies and whether increased travel distances are dependant on installation of smoke and heat vents pursuant to Sections 910.2.4 and 1015.2, Florida Building Code, Building Volume (2004 as amended 12/05).
