    NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY

    FLORIDA CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION NOTICE

    NATURE COAST REGIONAL WATER AUTHORITY (NCRWA)

    The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the NCRWA’s five phase project involving construction of 16,000 linear feet of water distribution piping for Phase 1; 10,180 linear feet of water distribution piping and a 100,000 gallon elevated water storage tank for Phase 2; and 110,850 linear feet of water distribution piping for Phases 3 through 5 is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The estimated construction cost for Phase 1 is $1,513,100; for Phase 2 is $1,532,900; and for Phase 3 through 5 is $3,607,100 for a total estimated construction cost of $6,653,100. The project may qualify for a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
