Federal Bldg. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.11.3, as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code, adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code, that requires upgrading the elevators with firefighters’ emergency operations which poses a significant economic/ financial hardship.
