Northwest Florida Water Management District
Notice of Availability of Grant Funds
The Northwest Florida Water Management District (District) announces the availability of grant funds for the purpose of helping local governments and utilities across the region meet local water supply challenges while also addressing regional water resource protection and management needs. The District seeks proposals from local governments and publicly or privately owned nonprofit 501(c) utilities within the jurisdiction of the District’s 16-county area for cooperative or cost-share projects that would accomplish this purpose.
Applications are due at District Headquarters no later than Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Parties interested in applying are encouraged to attend the informational workshop on August 26, 2014, 2:00 pm CDT, at the Gibson Lecture Hall, Gulf Coast State College, 5230 West U.S. Highway 98, Panama City, FL 32401.
