The Public Employees Relations Commission hereby gives notice: On August 4, 2020, the Public Employees Relations Commission issued a final order in Case No. MS-2020-029 granting an unopposed emergency petition for variance from Florida Administrative Code Rule 60CC-4.002 filed by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Local 1184, AFL-CIO. The variance allows the Petitioner to conduct all aspects of a ratification election electronically. The Public Employees Relations Commission determined that the Petitioner had demonstrated an emergency existed and that it would suffer a substantial hardship if the variance was not granted. The petition was filed on July 22, 2020, and the notice of receipt of the petition was published on July 24, 2020, on the Commission’s website and in Volume 46, Number 144 F.A.R. No comments were received to the petition.
