The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has determined that the Spring Lake Improvement District’s project involving the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant, effluent disposal system, master, gravity sewer collection system, lift station, master pump station and force mains is not expected to generate controversy over potential environmental effects. The total estimated construction cost is $2,582,280. The project may qualify for a Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan comprised of federal or state funds. DEP will consider public comments about the environmental impacts of the proposed project that are postmarked or delivered at the address below within 30 days of this notice.
