NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 6, 2013, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Windsor of San Pablo. Petitioner seeks a variance of the requirements of ASME A17.1b, Section 2.20.1, 2.18.5.1, 2.20.4, 2.20.5 and 2.20.9 as adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code that requires steel ropes of a minimum diameter of 9.5 mm which poses a significant economic/financial hardship.
