PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purposed rule incorporates an updated Department of Health form regarding the application for training program registration. Primarily the changes to this form are necessary to clarify that the form only applies to prescription hearing aids and does not apply to over-the-counter hearing aids. There are also other minor changes to the form such as updating the existing email address.

SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The rule addresses the qualifications for trainees, sponsors and designated hearing aid specialists.
