    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 05, 2024, the FISH AND WILDLIFE CONSERVATION COMMISSION, received a petition for variance authorizing Panama City Beach Turtle Watch to relocate marine turtle nests for conservation purposes. A variance was granted because the Commission determined (1) application of the rule would violate principles of fairness and (2) the purposes of the underlying statute would be achieved by other means. On August 8, 2024, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission issued an order granting Panama City Beach Turtle Watch, Inc. a temporary variance from subsection 68E-1.004(5), Florida Administrative Code
