I Budget 30-Day Public Notice and Comment Period
The Agency for Health Care Administration (Agency) is announcing the start of a 30-day public notice and comment period. The Agency is seeking to amend the Developmental Disabilities Individual Budgeting (iBudget) Waiver (FL.0867), which operates under the authority of Section 1915(c) of the Social Security Act. The 30-day public notice and comment period will be held from September 1, 2017 through September 30, 2017, prior to the submission of the amendment request to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
The Agency is requesting this amendment to:
- Update the provider types included under the residential habilitation service (removed Behavior Analyst, added Adult Family Care Home)
- Update the provider specifications for the residential habilitation service (added language to say “at least” one year experience)
- Update the Cost Neutrality Demonstration, Derivation of Estimates (J Table data) for waiver years four and five
