NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 9, 2014, the Board of Medicine, received a petition for waiver or variance filed on behalf of Myrtho Branch, M.D., Najib Kirmani, M.D., James Reed, M.D., IMPOWER, Inc., from Rule 64B8-9.0141, F.A.C., with regard to the prohibition against the prescribing of non-narcotic controlled substances such as Vyvanse, Adderall, Concerta, Ritalin, Strattera, Focalin and other similar classes of stimulant medications prescribed for the treatment of ADHD, ADD and other mental health disorders through the use of telemedicine.
