GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a Downtown Tampa/East Tampa Community Working Groups meeting on Monday, September 25, 6:30 p.m. at the Barrymore Hotel Riverwalk, 111 West Fortune Street, Tampa, FL 33602, located near the Straz Center in downtown Tampa.
At this second round of Community Working Groups, FDOT will present information about various projects and alternatives being considered. The Metropolitan Planning Organization has been invited to present information about their upcoming Long Range Transportation Plan and the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority (HART) will present the latest Regional Transit Feasibility Plan information. The format will encourage dialogue to address questions and ideas. The group discussions include topics such as multi-modal transportation and evaluating infrastructure improvements in the context of a comprehensive regional transportation system.
The Community Working Group is open to the public and represents a cross section within the community including individual citizens, neighborhood/HOA association representatives, civic and faith-based leaders, small business owners and business leaders, among others. Comments may also be received through a written format to Madeline.Pfingsten@dot.state.fl.us

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 U.S.C. §327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016 and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
