    The Northwest Florida Water Management District announces two public workshops to which all persons are invited.

    DATES AND TIMES: October 3, 2019, 2:30 p.m.; October 3, 2019, 6:00 p.m. CT

    PLACE: NWFWMD DeFuniak Springs Service Office, 700 US Highway 331 South,
    DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.

    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE PRESENTED: The Northwest Florida Water Management District will present an update to the Regional Water Supply Plan (RWSP) for Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties, together designated as water supply planning Region II. The District’s Governing Board determined on December 13, 2018, that regional water supply planning should continue for the region, per section 373.709, Florida Statutes. The workshops will present the Draft Region II RWSP 2019 update with proposed water supply development and water resource development projects. The same general subject matter will be presented at both workshops. The draft RWSP update document and workshop agenda are available on the District’s website, www.nwfwater.com/Water-Resources/Water-Supply-Planning/Regional-Water-Supply-Planning, or by contacting Christina Coger at (850)539-5999 or Christina.Coger@nwfwater.com.
