    6A-1.0014Comprehensive Management Information System

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: To revise existing requirements of the statewide comprehensive management information system to implement changes recommended by school districts and to change state reporting and local recordkeeping procedures for state and/or federal programs as described in the updated FDOE Information Database Requirements. The rule also adopts the updated FDOE Information Database Requirements: Volume I - Automated Student Information System, 2023-24 and Volume II - Automated Staff Information System, 2023-24. The effect maintains compatibility among state and local information systems’ components. The statewide comprehensive management information system provides the data on which the measurement of school improvement and accountability is based.

    SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: An amendment of the rule is proposed to update the incorporated FDOE Information Database Requirements documents. These documents describe the data elements, procedures and timelines for state reporting, local recordkeeping and statewide records transfer to be implemented by each school district and the department within the statewide comprehensive management information system.
