PROJECT NAME, NUMBER & LOCATION: Ampac laboratory office Building, single story 8,000 gsf to be placed on an existing slab, University of Cental Florida, Main Campus

QUALIFICATION: All Bidders must be pre-qualified in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, Article B-2.  Pre-qualification statements are due at the office of KZF Architects, 2101 Park Center Drive, Suite 290, Orlando, FL  32835, [phone], by 2:00 p.m. September 14, 2007.  Address to the attention of Joe Morgan, AIA.  Sealed bids will be received on:

DATE AND TIME: October 23, 2007, until  2:00 p.m. (Local Time)

PLACE: Physical Plant Complex, 4000 Central Florida Blvd., Building 16 Libra Drive, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Contract award will be made subject to the availabilty of funds.  PROPOSAL:  Bids must be submitted in full and in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and Project Manual, information may be obtained at the office of the Architect/Engineer at KZF Architects, 2101 Park Center Drive, Suite 290, Orlando, FL  32835,  [phone].

PURCHASE:  Full sets of bidding documents may be at the local plan rooms. Full sets may be purchased through NGI’s Orlando Office [phone] or Metro West Office [phone] at standard printing and handling cost.

PUBLIC ENTITY CRIMES: As required by Section 287.133, Florida Statutes, a contractor may not submit a bid for this project if it is on the convicted vendor list for a public entity crime committed within the past 36 months.  The successful contractor must warrant that it will neither utilize the services of, nor contract with, any supplier, subcontractor, or consultant in excess of $15,000.00 in connection with this project for a period of 36 months from the date of their being placed on the convicted vendor list.
