AWARENESS VIDEO for Central Florida Regional Planning Council
The Central Florida Regional Planning Council is requesting sealed bids from qualified bidders with experience in developing an awareness (i.e., public relations) video for public information. The Council supports diversity in its employees and contractors and therefore encourages qualified minority and disadvantaged firms to bid.
Background:
Between 2007 and 2010, a Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) for the Avon Park Air Force Range (APAFR) was conducted. This successful multijurisdictional effort was completed in August 2010. A next step is the development of an awareness (i.e., public relations) video to memorialize the process and actions undertaken by the JLUS local governments that led to the success of the JLUS and to promote awareness about the JLUS and favorable relations with the APAFR communities. The model envisioned for the awareness video is the Office of Economic Adjustment’s JLUS awareness video (c. 2007). This no more than 10-minute video is intended to promote community understanding of activities and accomplishments that occurred under the JLUS planning process and as the process to carry out the JLUS recommendations has proceeded.
Required Qualification:
At least two years in video production.
- A minimum of three recent experiences developing awareness (i.e., public relations) videos.
Submissions:
No questions may be directed to, or contacts made with the Mayors, members of the Central Florida Regional Planning Council, City Commissions or County Commissions, the City or County Managers, or staff members concerning this project until a bidder is selected. Violation of this prohibition may result in the disqualification of the bidder from further consideration. The Council is not obligated to enter into any contract on the basis of any bid submittal. The Council reserves the right to request additional information that the Council deems necessary to confirm the bidder’s qualifications.

The Council reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject all bids, reissue a subsequent request for sealed bids, terminate, restructure or amend this procurement process at any time.

The deadline for submissions is October 5, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Sealed bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids shall be opened and reviewed at 4:05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Sealed bids should be directed to:
