61H1-33.003:Continuing Professional Education

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on August 28, 2017, the Board of Accountancy received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Mohan Srinivasan, seeking a variance or waiver of paragraph 61H1-33.003(1)(b), Florida Administrative Code, that states that Florida certified public accountants who do not meet the requirements by June 30 of their renewal year will be granted an automatic extension until September 15 provided the Florida certified public accountant completes an additional 8 hours in Accounting and Auditing subjects. An automatic extension will be granted until December 31 provided the Florida certified public accountant completes an additional 16 hours in Accounting and Auditing subjects.
