    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: Federated National Insurance Company has requested a 49.5% average statewide rate increase for its homeowners insurance. The requested rate increase is not uniform and some areas are subject to a higher rate increase. Florida law allows the Office of Insurance Regulation to hold a public hearing for any purpose within the scope of the Insurance Code deemed to be necessary. Input from the insurers as well as interested parties will be received at this public hearing.
