NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Florida Building Commission has received the petition for declaratory statement from Nichiha USA, Inc. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Sections R703, R703.4 & R703.10.2, Florida Building Code, Residential (2010), as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner seeks clarification as to whether the requirements for installation of fiber cement lap siding should be revised.
