Notice is hereby given that the Board of Pharmacy has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed by Eric Renker, Pharm D., on behalf of Florida Hospital Tampa, on September 6, 2013.The Petitioner seeks a Declaratory Statement from the Board with regard to Rule 64B16-28.605, F.A.C., and seeks the agency's opinion as it applies to the petitioner. The petitioner is seeking the Board’s interpretation as to whether it is in the scope and practice of a Registered Pharmacy Technician to fill and check medications which will be placed in an automated dispensing machine separate from the supervision requirement of Chapter 465.014, F.S. The board will address this at the next available board meeting.
Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after the publication of this notice.
