The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIMES: Thursday, September 26, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Open House; 6:30 p.m., Formal Presentation, followed by a public comment period.
PLACE: DoubleTree Hotel Orlando East-UCF Area, 12125 High Tech Avenue, Orlando, FL 32817. In the event that the Public Hearing cannot be held on September 26, 2019 due to severe weather or unforeseen conditions, it will be held on the alternate date of Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the same time and place.
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This Public Hearing is being held to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic, and environmental effects of the Colonial Parkway Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for proposed improvements along the State Road (SR) 50 corridor from Woodbury Road to SR 520 in Orange County, Florida (Financial Project Identification Number: 440314-1). Proposed access modifications to SR 50 from Woodbury Road to SR 520, including median openings and closures, will be recommended during the Public Hearing.
Project information will include displays that describe the proposed improvements for the preferred alternative. We invite your comments on the proposed improvements. For more project information and updates throughout the study, please visit the project website at www.ColonialParkway.com.
