The Board of Opticianry hereby gives notice: of the issuance of an Order Denying Petition for Variance and Waiver, filed by Omar Ramos on April 10, 2024. The Notice of Petition for Waiver and Variance was published in Vol. 50, No. 76, of the April 17, 2024, Florida Administrative Register. The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on August 20, 2024. The Board’s Order, filed on September 13, 2024, denied the petition. The Board found that petitioner failed to demonstrate how compliance with subsection 64B12-16.003 (1), F.A.C. would pose an undue hardship on Petitioner or violate principles of fairness.
