The Construction Industry Licensing Board hereby gives notice:
that on August 31, 2018, an Order was filed on the Petition for Variance or Waiver. The Petition for Variance or Waiver was filed by Anthony S. Bono, on June 14, 2018, seeking a variance or waiver of Rule 61G4-16.005, F.A.C., which requires for the purpose of certification, a passing grade shall be valid only for a period of four (4) years from the date of the most recently passed portion of the exam. The Notice was published in Volume 44, No. 124, of the Florida Administrative Register, on June 26, 2018.
The Board considered the Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on August 10, 2018, in Coral Gables, Florida. At its meeting, the Board denied the Petition finding that the Petitioner failed to establish that the Board’s application of Rule 61G4-16.005, F.A.C., to the Petitioner’s circumstances would violate principles of fairness or impose a substantial hardship.
