Board of MedicineThe Board of Medicine hereby gives notice that it has received a Petition for Declaratory Statement filed on behalf of Jacksonville Heart Center, P.A., (“Jax Heart”), on September 11, 2007. The Petitioner seeks the Board’s opinion as to whether the establishment of a Sleep Center by Jax Heart would constitute prohibited activity under Section 456.053, Florida Statutes, as set forth in the Petition. The Board will consider this petition at its meeting scheduled for October 6, 2007, in Orlando, Florida. Copies of the petition may be obtained by writing Larry G.
