    NOTICE OF CHANGE

    Notice is hereby given that the following changes have been made to the proposed rule in accordance with subparagraph 120.54(3)(d)1., F.S., published in Vol. 40, No. 168, August 28, 2014 issue of the Florida Administrative Register.

    Rule 6A-1.099811 is amended to read:

    (3)(c)1.f. The Department shall review the School Improvement Plan (SIP) pursuant to Section 1001.42(18)(a), Florida Statutes, and may conduct meetings visits to monitor the fidelity of the plan’s implementation.

     

    Form SIP-1 is amended as follows:

    Page 3.

    3. Early Warning Systems

    a. Describe the school’s early warning system and provide a list of the early warning indicators used in the system. At a minimum, Tthis list shall must include the following:”

     

    Form TOP-2 is amended as follows:

    Page 3 (Assurance 6), Page 5 (Assurance 4) and Page 6 (Assurance 3).

    The district shall ensure teachers are not rehired at the school, unless they are effective or highly effective instructors as defined in the district’s approved evaluation system, pursuant to section 1012.34, Florida Statutes.

     

    Page 4 (Area of Focus 5).

    The district shall increase learning time in the school, as defined in paragraph 6A-1.099811(2)(m)(1), Florida Administrative Code, by a total of 300 hours annually; at least 60 percent of time shall support all students (e.g., extended day, week, or year) and up to 40 percent of time may be provided through targeted services (e.g., before school, after school, weekend and summer).
