The Board of Professional Engineers hereby gives notice:

Of the issuance of an Order regarding the Petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on April 18, 2016, by Henry C. Hillman, Jr. The Notice of Petition for Variance or Waiver was published in Vol. 42, No. 77, of the April 20, 2016, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner sought a variance from or a waiver of Rule 61G15-35.003, F.A.C., and licensure as a special inspector of threshold buildings. The Board considered the instant Petition at a duly-noticed public meeting held on May 20, 2016, by telephone conference call. The Board’s Order, filed on September 14, 2016, granted the Petition for a Variance or Waiver finding the applicant met the purpose, the underlying statute by other means, and application of the rule to Applicant’s particular facts and circumstances would constitute an undue hardship on Petitioner.
