61C-5.001:Safety Standards

The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety hereby gives notice: on September 18, 2013, the Department received a letter withdrawing the Petition for variance from Sarasota Alliance Church, filed June 25, 2013, and advertised on July 1, 2013 in Vol. 39, No. 127, of the Florida Administrative Register. The Petition for variance requested a variance from Rule 2.1.1.6, 2.1.1.2, 2.1.1.3, 2.1.17, ASME A18.1 2003 edition, and FBC 11.4.11 as adopted by Chapter 30, Section 3001.2 Florida Building Code adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators runway enclosure operations. The Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety is taking no further action on the petition (VW2013.205).
