NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Pete Dospel on June 25, 2013. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 39, No. 144, of the July 25, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner was seeking the Board’s interpretation of Section 489.113(3)(c), Florida Statutes, as to whether his general contractor’s license is sufficient to build (permit) a commercial swimming pool, with a licensed plumber and an electrician on his sub form. The Construction Industry Licensing Board considered the Petition at its meeting held on August 16, 2013, in Sarasota, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on September 6, 2013, denies the petition for declaratory statement because the scope of the question is too broad and insufficient information is given.
