NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Construction Industry Licensing Board has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Florida Power & Light Company ("FPL") on May 21, 2013. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:

The Notice of Petition for Declaratory Statement was published in Volume 39, No. 130, of the July 5, 2013, Florida Administrative Register. Petitioner was seeking the Board’s interpretation of Section 489.113, Florida Statutes, as to what licenses are required for performing various work activities on FPL facilities in the State of Florida. The Construction Industry Licensing Board considered the Petition at its meeting held on August 16, 2013, in Sarasota, Florida. The Board’s Order, filed on September 6, 2013, denies the petition for declaratory statement because the questions are too broad and insufficient information is given.
