PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

INVITATION TO BID

The State of Florida, Department of Military Affairs (DMA), Construction & Facility Management Office (CFMO) requests bids from State of Florida registered licensed General and/or Building Contractors (GC) (as required by Florida Law) for the following projects located at 13433 Crossover St. Cecil Field, Jacksonville FL.

FUNDING: The State of Florida's performance and obligation to pay under this contract is contingent upon availability of funding and an annual appropriation by the Legislature.

BID OPENING DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System (late bids will not be accepted)

MANDATORY PRE-BID/SITE VISIT DATE: As stated on the Vendor Bid System

PROJECT: Renovation of the existing Cecil Field Building 1822. Work generally includes but is not limited to interior additions and renovations to the existing building. Work will include, but not be limited to sitework, concrete, masonry, steel framing, decking and stairs, cabinetry and finish carpentry, restroom renovations, windows, new doors, new finishes, roof patch and repair, new exterior coatings, new mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing system, and a new fire protection system. Refer to the specification table of contents for a list of applicable work that is included in this renovation. The Requirement of this project is to attain LEED Silver Certification. Refer to the Exhibit A below for the required minimum General Contractor LEED Qualification Criteria.

The Department reserves the right to reject any and all submissions or accept minor irregularities in the best interest of the DMA.
