    GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This is an emergency noticed meeting pursuant to section 120.525(1) and (3), Florida Statutes because the agency has determined that an immediate danger to the public health, safety and welfare requires immediate action. The agency will hold an emergency public meeting of the Volunteer Florida Foundation Board, via conference call. The meeting is also noticed on the agency’s website in a prominent location. This meeting is for the express purpose of considering an amendment to the Florida Disaster Fund policies and procedures which would expedite the administration of funds for critical needs of Floridians impacted by Hurricane Irma. These critical needs include but are not limited to food, clothing, sheltering, financial assistance, crisis assistance, removal of dangerous debris and home muck-out.
