NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 20, 2023, the Board of Dentistry, received a petition for variance or waiver filed by Centurion of Florida, LLC. The petitioner is seeking a variance or waiver of subsection 64B5-17.013(1), F.A.C., which states that no corporation, lay body, organization, or individual other than a licensed dentist or a professional corporation or limited liability company composed of dentists shall engage in the practice of dentistry through the means of engaging the services, upon a salary, commission, or other means of inducement, of any person licensed to practice dentistry in this state. The provisions of this rule are not applicable to dentists working under any of the settings described in section 466.025, F.S. Comments on this petition should be filed with the Board of Dentistry within 14 days of publication of this notice.
