DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Talent Agency Licensing Unit of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation has received the petition for declaratory statement from Invencible Records. The petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the applicability of Chapter 468, part VII, F.S., as it applies to the petitioner.

Petitioner – a record label that does not procure employment or engagement for its sole act – asks if it is required to be licensed under the above statutes. Second, if required to be licensed, whether the license of a major shareholder/partner would satisfy the requirement.
