NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Board of Optometry has received the petition for declaratory statement from Roy Webster Bruce, Jr., on September 7, 2017. Although no specific rule or statute is mentioned in the petition, it appears that the petition seeks the agency’s opinion as to the requirements of Section 463.014(1), F.S., and Rule 64B13-3.008, F.A.C. Petitioner seeks the Board’s opinion regarding whether a leasing company has the authority to determine the number of the hours a licensee must operate. Except for good cause shown, motions for leave to intervene must be filed within 21 days after publication of this notice.
