    6M-8.605VPK Staff Development Plan for Providers on Probation

    PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rules is to allow providers on probation using the staff development plan to take some of the required courses in an online format, instead of only in person. Additionally, the revision updates the design and structure of the staff development plan.

    SUMMARY: The rule assists providers on probation to complete the staff development plan successfully.

    SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS AND LEGISLATIVE RATIFICATION:

    The Agency has determined that this will not have an adverse impact on small business or likely increase directly or indirectly regulatory costs in excess of $200,000 in the aggregate within one year after the implementation of the rule. A SERC has not been prepared by the Agency.

    The Agency has determined that the proposed rule is not expected to require legislative ratification based on the statement of estimated regulatory costs or if no SERC is required, the information expressly relied upon and described herein: the economic anaylsis by the Office of the proposed rule amendments determined that a Statement of Estimated Regulatory Costs was not necessary nor will require legislative radification as the rule amendments impose no adverse economic impact nor additional fees or costs on small business as some of the amendments are technical support and others increase the flexibility for compliance.

    Any person who wishes to provide information regarding a statement of estimated regulatory costs, or provide a proposal for a lower cost regulatory alternative must do so in writing within 21 days of this notice.
