The Office of Financial Regulation (Office) hereby gives notice:

On September 27, 2017, the Office of Financial Regulation (Office) issued a Final Order granting Petitioner PayNearMe MT, Inc., a permanent waiver based on the factual information set forth in and the unique aspects of Petitioner’s business model as described in the Amended Petition for Waiver of paragraph 69V-560.703(1)(a), FAC.

History:

On September 1, 2017, the Office received an Amended Petition for a Waiver of the provisions of paragraph 69V-560.703(1)(a), Florida Administrative Code. The petition was filed by PayNearMe MT, Inc. (PNM), a licensed money services business pursuant to Part II, Chapter 560, Florida Statutes. PNM alleges the requirement to collect the sender's name and address imposes a substantial hardship, violates principles of fairness, and would lead to unreasonable, unfair, or unintended results. The original notice was published in the FAR Volume 43, Number 174.
